Writing Workshop
Writing Workshop is a writing program guided by Olivia Frey during the 2008-2009 school year. Olivia has a background in many levels of teaching and mentoring. She was the head of the English Department at St. Olaf and taught there and the Paracollege for many years. She was also a co-founder of the now defunct Village School. She currently works with the Northfield Girl Scouts and is a founder of Starwalkers, an intentional learning community in Northfield.
Writing Workshop is a group of youth that engage in different assignments in order to learn writing skills as a positive form of expression. Meeting times are at 1:00pm on Sunday at The Key. Like all Key programs, this is open to anyone ages 12-20 and is always free. Youth are encouraged to participate in this welcoming and empowering program.
