Book Club to read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

After reading In Cold Blood and watching the movies In Cold Blood and Capote, Book Club will take a trip into the life of Hunter S. Thompson and his sidekick Gonzo. Come read the sometimes poignant, sometimes terrifying, and sometimes hilarious adventures of protagonist, Raoul Duke, and his attorney, Dr. Gonzo, as they descend on Las Vegas to chase the American Dream. The novel first appeared as a two-part series in Rolling Stone magazine in 1971. Come to The Key on Monday the 2nd of April to pick up a copy of the book. We will follow up the novel with a showing of the movie.
