Today, Danny Dobrow taught another delicious class based around the absolutely groovy (as I like to call it) chickens donated to us by one of our adult board members, Derek Haars (thanks buddy). Along with the fried chicken, we made gravy and dumplings, corn bread and some of the largest apple pies I have ever encountered.
Dewi Sant‘s final stop on their tour was in Northfield, and as always, The Key was very happy to see them again. So were the bats swooping around overhead. They were really happy to see Dewi Sant.
Also along for the ride was The Lonelyhearts and We Are the Willows (below picture).
Kellen and I helped make some sun jars at the Key. We used solar LED lights from some cheap lawn ornaments and put them in Ball jars. Good times were had, and rooms were dimly lit. Art Night is every Thursday at 5:00. Keep checking to see what will be happ’nin’ next week. (I’m thinking tiny terrariums.)
