Posted by joemcg, December 27th , 2009.

Over the past 2 weeks The Key has ran 3 fundraisers raising around $800 for a local family in need. With the proceeds we were able to buy gifts for 5 children in the family and a nice Christmas dinner. Thank you everyone that contributed and took part in any of the fundraisers! IMG_0208

Kind words about SLAM THE SQUARE…

Posted by joemcg, December 3rd , 2009.

The following comment was sent to the NUY’s email account regarding our concert/SLAM the Square event that took place on Sept. 19th:

“I had a great time, everything was good to experience. I especially liked walking out of Goodbye Blue Monday and hearing the music begin: A Neutral Milk Hotel song I’ve been listening to non-stop for about three days.”

Moral of this story: We make people happy and have good taste in music. Go us.
