After reading In Cold Blood and watching the movies In Cold Blood and Capote, Book Club will take a trip into the life of Hunter S. Thompson and his sidekick Gonzo. Come read the sometimes poignant, sometimes terrifying, and sometimes hilarious adventures of protagonist, Raoul Duke, and his attorney, Dr. Gonzo, as they descend on Las Vegas to chase the American Dream. The novel first appeared as a two-part series in Rolling Stone magazine in 1971. Come to The Key on Monday the 2nd of April to pick up a copy of the book. We will follow up the novel with a showing of the movie.

Art Project held a wildly successful art scavenger hunt on the 20th of March. Participants (in two teams) ran a distance of almost 5 miles from Carleton to the War Memorial and all in between. The winning team consisted of Kellen, Agi, Marie, Jena. Congrats winners!!! The losing team (by 50 seconds in a two hour event) consisted of the highly distraught Mukina, Addy, Max, and Spencer. Each team received well-earned prizes and a great workout. Revenge? This photo is blurry because the participants were melting and wouldn’t stand still.
